This dialogue allows you to add a new congregation to the database. Context help is available to you by either pressing F1 when the control has focus, or by using the question mark icon at the top right corner of the dialogue.
The dialogue is invoked by pressing the New Congregation button on the Congregations maintenance page.
You must specify a Congregation and Coordinator at least, otherwise the new Congregation will not be accepted.
The Congregation and Coordinator edit boxes are intelligent edit boxes. Click on the link for more details about what this means.
If the Congregation always has the Public Talk meeting at the same time, then just enter the time (in 24 hour format). But if they have more than one meeting time (because they share a Kingdom Hall for example) then click on the Meeting Time Manager icon (shown in screenshot above) to enter the time change information. Once the time change information has been entered, the Meeting Time control becomes disabled.
You may optionally use the note and memo fields to include any additional information about the Congregation / coordinator. Note that the descriptive labels used for the notes / memos might be different on your version of this dialogue. You can change them in program preferences.
When you click OK you will be warned if you duplicate an existing Congregation. You must dismiss the dialogue with OK in order to get your changes updated in the database.
Click Cancel to abort adding the new entry.
