Common Settings
The Common calendar settings are available in the Calendar Options window.


These settings are common to all of the supported calendar tools:
- Google Sync
- Outlook Sync
- iCalendar Export (ICS file format)
Default Location
You can specify a default location for each calendar event. This will typically be the address of your Kingdom Hall.
Learn more about the benefits of specifying locations here.
Note: The Congregation and Foreign-Language Group environments each have their own Default Location.
Reminders
You can set reminder alerts for the events that are added to your calendar.

Note: Meeting Schedule Assistant does not currently support all reminder alert features available in some calendar systems.
- Choose the time unit: Minutes, Hours, Days, or Weeks.
- Set or type your desired reminder interval.
- The OK button will be disabled if the entered value is too large.

You can customize how events are described when added to your calendar. Note: Event descriptions for Duty assignments are unique to each schedule type. Adjusting them in one schedule type will not affect others. |

Choose whether to exclude special events from your calendar. For example, you may include special events in your MWB schedule but exclude them from your SRR schedule. |

(Outlook Calendar and ICS Export only) Adds your MWB Weekend Meeting details to your calendar, including information about the Public Talk and Watchtower Study. |

|
(Google Calendar only) Creates separate events for each assignment. This is an advanced option for users familiar with Google Calendar filters. |
