The Report Viewer displays your selected report in a preview area. You can choose different templates, import new styles, and print or export the report.

How to Access

You can open the Report Viewer from the following locations:

  • Tools → Report Viewer
  • the View menu on the following windows:
    • Congregation Manager
    • Speakers Manager
    • Publishers Database Manager
    • Field Service Group Manager
    • Public Talk Manager
    • Weekend Meeting Editor
    • Meeting Attendance

Using the Report Viewer

Style

Use the Style dropdown list to select the report template you want to use.

Prefix

Description

CongDB

Templates for the Congregations database.

PublisherDB

Templates for the Publishers database.

TalkDB

Templates for the Public Talks database.

AttendDB

Templates for Meeting Attendance reports.

Import

Click Import to select one or more CSS, XSL, or ZIP template files.

⚠️ Importing third‑party templates is at your own risk. This topic does not cover writing custom XSL templates.

Setup

Use the Setup button to choose which information appears in the report. The options available depend on the selected report type.

Print

Displays the familiar Microsoft Edge Print interface, allowing you to print the report or save it as a PDF.

Context Menu

Right-click anywhere in the report to open the context menu.

The available commands depend on the report being viewed and the item you right-click. Common commands include copying text, printing, exporting, and other actions supported by the current report.
