I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Meeting Schedule Assistant now available.

I would like to thank all of those who have been involved during and discussion and development of this edition.

Partial Gujarati Translation

A brother kindly came forward to translate Meeting Schedule Assistant into Gujarati:

Our brother has kindly become a volunteer to provide the Meeting Workbook information each month too.

We hope that our brothers will be able to make use of Gujarati and that it will simplify their workload.

Reminders

A few enhancements have been made to the Reminders facility. Up until version 19.0.8 the reminder would popup in a standard message box into the Midweek Editor. This had draw backs which have now been resolved.

Enhancements to the Reminders Window

You can now:

  • Adjust the Reminder Window is size.
  • Include multi-line text
  • Repeat the reminder again by setting a future date.

You are now asked for confirmation before deleting the reminder (since the operation can’t be undone!).

New Assistant Category

A refinement has been made to the way you handle student assignments. It was brought to my attention that in some situations there were Publishers who would only be Assistants (maybe due to ill health), and in other situations they would only be Students.

As a result you can now pick two distinct assignments for each Publisher in the Publishers Database with respects to student items:

Note
The application will set the Assistant assignment for all Students automatically in your database when it starts. Thereafter you can refine the settings for each Publisher.

An adjustment has been made to one of the custom Student Reports that is available on the website. This is to reflect these changes to the database.

You can still download the last supported version of Meeting Schedule Assistant (which was 23.1.0) from here. But this version is no longer maintained. You are encouraged to use version 23.1.1 or higher.
