I am pleased to announce that there is a new version of Meeting Schedule Assistant now available.
So Coronavirus / COVID-19 is affecting everyone around the globe in some way or another. You are all very much in my families thoughts at the moment and we pray that Jehovah and your congregation give you the support that you need. I know that they will!
It seems that even though we can’t meet in Kingdom Halls at the moment brothers are continuing to find ways to make use of Meeting Schedule Assistant. Brothers continue to request S-89 templates, have queries about downloading monthly data, and contact me with their questions.
I will continue to support the software improvements as my circumstances permit. Both my part-time secular jobs (Office Cleaner / Tesco Supermarket Assistant) require I still go to work despite the lockdown in the United Kingdom. My self-employment is not that busy.
Our congregation is practising with ZOOM Video Conferencing and we will have our first meetings as Groups this week. Thank you to those of you who have emailed me with photos and experiences of how your congregation is getting on. Please continue to do so!
Specifically, the Assignments Editor now has Editor / Preview tabs at the top:
When you are in preview mode you can:
- Right-click to display a handy context menu (same as Midweek Editor).
- Select the active schedule template (eg, use the duty slip template).
- Import new schedule templates.
- Access the Report Settings window (also available from the Edit menu).
I hope that these changes to the Assignments Editor will make it easier for you to use. Feel free to add feedback about these new features to the existing forum topic or you can create a new topic if you prefer.
I took the opportunity to perform a few other internal updates that don’t affect you as users.
